About Us

We are an aviation company which specializes in the support of FAA-Certified Pilots, Aircraft Mechanics and Engineers or anyone who holds an FAA certificate who does not have a US postal address for mail correspondences, ensuring you stay compliant with the FAA.

We are well-versed in the aviation industry through working directly with aviation manufacturers and pilots for many years. It is this experience we believe we have the expertise and reliability necessary to provide this high-level service.

It will be our pleasure to be your US Registered Agent for Service. We look forward to working with you!

What We Do (And Why)

The FAA published AC 3-1 during late 2024 informing all individuals with a foreign address and no U.S. physical address of record on file with the FAA, who hold or apply for certain certificates, ratings, or authorizations, must appoint a US Agent for Service for FAA documents.

The service which Leading Edge Aviation Agents can supply is for the use by individuals who hold or apply for certificates, ratings or authorizations issued under parts 47, 61, 63, 65, 67 or 107, and have a foreign address and no US physical address of record on file with the FAA.

The FAA has assessed over the years that delays in documents for weeks, months, and in some cases, over a year, have imposed additional costs on the agency. These international service requirements cannot be waived by document recipients or circumvented by sending documents electronically.

Considering these requirements, the FAA requires applicants or individuals who hold certain certificates, ratings, our authorizations, and who have a foreign address and no US physical address of record on file with the FAA to designate a U.S. Registered Agent for Service. 14 CFR §§ 3.301-3.303. The rule permits the FAA to service other safety-critical and time-sensitive document on an individual’s US Agent. In turn, the FAA would be able to carry out prompt and cost-effective service on these individuals and facilitate more expedited due process.
